Mini-coupling

The mini coupling is a torsionally rigid double-jointed all-metal coupling made of high-quality aluminium, stainless steel or steel.

The coupling's patented slot compensates for axial, radial and angular shaft misalignments. The torque is transmitted backlash-free.

Another feature of the spring bar coupling is its high rigidity, which leads to very good positioning accuracies in dynamic drives. Furthermore, the slotted coupling is wear- and maintenance-free.

The Mini compensating coupling is available in two different designs. The coupling type MWK is a one-piece design with slotted clamping hubs. Type MWH has 2 removable half shells which allow easy radial assembly. 

The coupling hubs are standard with cylindrical finish bores without groove, which we insert according to customer specifications. In addition, bores with keyways and special bores are available on request.

Areas of application

The areas of application for the mini shaft coupling are predominantly applications with precise backlash-free torque transmission.

The main areas of application are therefore in servo drives, machine tools, in the food sector and pharmaceutical technology.

However, they are also used in general (special) machine construction for a wide range of applications.
